Our shop, CHECK & STRIPE is a web shop which has been dealing in original fabrics and some household goods since 1999.
We have four shops, two in Kobe and two in Tokyo under direct management.

Our fabrics are mostly made from natural materials like linen and cotton and are to be used casually in daily life. We try to maintain that things we provide are simple but of high quality and that they seem to be everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. We wish that our fabrics help to bring out more of the sweetness of children and that they would remember the colors and textures of the clothes which mother made for them while they were growing up.
Eccentric colors and designs flood the world but what we pursue are things that we feel like being with all the time and can find relief in.
